Course Support:
This is an elearning site for the A level course, with:
- links for each sub-topic to pre-reading videos/ powerpoints/ interactive websites,
- dr frost links to tailor-made worksheets that follow each sub-topic which I have put together. Teacher can track these live in a lesson. There are also links to other online platforms such as khan academy and desmos, as well as one or two of my favourite resources
- a link to my past paper questions by topic resources to consolidate the skill with exam style questions.
I have started this and will be adding to it periodically – it takes time for each section so please be patient with me, but if you have any specific requests let me know.
Past Papers by Topic:
Past Papers by Topic – I appreciate that a lot of sites do already do this, but still believe there is use to how I have set out the topics. Firstly, it is free (unlike some sites)! Secondly, I have tried to make the experience as user friendly as possible, with the focus being on one question at a time – for either personal or class use. Finally, I have not tried to micro-organise each topic into minute skills, but group all skills together within a topic. Why? Often a paper will only have one question of each topic appearing, so by practising questions in this way, you can fully prepare for the variety of questions that may be put to you.
I transferred my PowerPoints to this site (after reducing their size substantially). They may still take a while to fully load, so please be patient when waiting for them to load and after clicking a link within them. I suggest having a go at one of the first couple of questions initially before going for the later ones (to give it a chance to load up smoothly). I aim to eventually convert all questions to the site without embedding them as PowerPoint files as can be seen in the AS Differentiation Section.
